Cable Components Group (CCG) is a manufacturer of a wide range of extruded cable fillers for specialty copper cable and fiber optic applications to include “6LAN Crossweb” for Category 6, 6e and 6a for Local Area Network cabling.  Other fillers include extruded profiles, rods, tubes, tapes and filament fiber yarns.  The materials used for extrusion are primarily fluoropolymers, i.e. (FEP, MFA, PFA, ECTFE, ETFE, PVDF) although PVC’s, Polyolefins, Nylons, PPS and Liquid Crystal Polymers are extruded as well.  CCG provides CAD drawings prior to each extrusion for custom or specialty designs so that the form, fit and function of the filler within a cable is optimized.  In addition, CCG will recommend materials for these cable fillers to enable them to pass extremely stringent requirements such as the Plenum Cable Test that requires highly fire retardant and low smoke generation materials.  A wide range of furcation tubing and splitter kits are available for fiber optic connectorization.  CCG offers private branding of specialty optical fiber buffering as a stand alone offering or integrated within extruded profile shapes.

CCG’s newest product offering is spunmelt fluoropolymer yarns and fibers ideal for use as ripcords or within premise optical fiber cables for plenum rated cables.  These fluoropolymer filaments offer extraordinary chemical resistance, thermal stability and dielectric properties.  They may be cut into crimped or uncrimped staple fiber and used in non-woven filtration media.

HALL Industries was founded in 1975 by Marcus Hall. In October 1994, MGS Manufacturing Inc. of Rome, NY completed the purchase of substantially all of the assets of HALL Industries Inc., located in Branford, CT.

HALL designs and manufactures systems to handle most any product from sensitive optical fiber to1000MCM power cable. We also can handle odd shapes; tubing, ribbon, tape, and even swing set chain. Our Automatic and Semiautomatic Takeups are extremely reliable for on-line packaging of a wide range of products and reels at high speeds, resulting in significant cost savings. Our solid designs begin with robust steel frames, progress to include the most advanced recipe driven PLC controls, and are supported by qualified engineers and technicians who respond when a customer needs help.

HALL products include Fully Automatic Packaging Systems with robotic depalletizer/palletizer, Payoffs and Takeups (Moveable Arm, Roll Thru, Cantilever Shaft, Multiple Spindles, Cone Pintle, Dual Semiautomatic And Automatic), Dancers, Vertical and Horizontal Accumulators, Capstans (Caterpillar, Belt Wrap, And Dual Drum), Fiber Optic Handling Systems, Rewinders, and Length Counters.

Some reel-less packages are becoming more popular, however, in many applications reels will remain the package of choice. Many of our systems are versatile and can produce reels and/or coils, allowing the flexibility to respond to your customer needs with the same Takeup. We have introduced an Automatic Coiling Machine that is flexible and allows a range of products and coil sizes to be produced on the same machine. It also includes banding, shrink wrap, labeling, and palletizing.

Northampton Machinery Co. is a long established business founded in 1902 in the town of Northampton in central England.

For the last 50 years Northampton has specialized in the design and manufacture of machinery and equipment for cable-making processes. Back in the 1950s we pioneered the development of the double twist process for very high speed stranding of electrical cables. Modern developments of the double twist technique still form the basis of most of the high speed twisting operation in cable-making, ranging from fine computer and data cable up to larger stranded power cable in aluminum or copper.

Northampton products include Triple Twist 630mm, Double Twist 450 to 1600mm (72"), Single Twist 630 to 1250mm, Group Twinners, single twist technology, special planetary stranding, backtwisting for enhanced data cable twinning, payoffs, tension control devices, taping, binding, and many other rotating processes used in cable manufacture.

Today, Northampton's latest machines have a performance that has given us a position as the leading supplier of high performance and quality machinery.

Northampton exports machines to all corners of the world, and provides service and support to assist our customers wherever they are located.

The period since wire Düsseldorf 2002 has been a momentous time for Northampton Machinery. After celebrating its 100 years anniversary, the business was acquired by The MGS Group in May 2003. The transatlantic alliance of MGS Manufacturing, HALL Industries and Northampton Machinery provides synergistic benefits which will enable the enlarged group to further develop its innovative and brand leading product range throughout world markets.

REELEX Packaging Solutions, Inc., formerly Windings, Inc. is the developer and licensor of The REELEX® System, and has been leading the way since 1957. REELEX is a patented method of winding cable or any cord-like product in such a way as to result in a reel-less, self-supporting coil. This unique coil dispenses from the inside out without twists, tangles, snags or overruns. The packages are easy to handle, stack and palletize, are far lighter than reels and spools and are 100% environmentally friendly. Sold under various brand names by the world's leading wire and cable manufacturers, REELEX has become the standard packaging system for "last-mile" lengths of LAN and Coaxial cable and is growing to be the preferred package for many other types of products like rope, building wire, plastic tubing, and more.

REELEX Packaging Solutions, Inc. authorizes its customers to use its patented REELEX technology through a license agreement. The agreement provides royalties to be paid to REELEX Packaging Solutions, Inc. in exchange for the use of the patented technology. The agreement also guarantees that REELEX Packaging Solutions, Inc. will sell its REELEX coiling equipment to licensees at its own cost. This allows each licensee to be confident that it is engaging on a level playing field and that REELEX Packaging Solutions, Inc. is treating all its licensees equally and fully supporting them all.
